The next steps in the Launchpad device are to add a simple drumrack step sequencer to the scenes, i'll add swing into it next but i'm just having fun rearranging stuff that i've used the ABleton Slice to Midi Option on...
The video doesn't show the metronome correctly as my mac struggles with recording the screen and a webcam and running the messages between Ableton and the Launchpad....

In other news Isotonik has reached version 6.1.3 and has eliminated the last few glitches people have reported caused often by different specifications, i'd still advise at least 3 GB of RAM on windows but have reduced again the cpu cycles required to run the template....

Isotonik Modul4r Series - Sl1cer 1.1.0 & Dis4bler Tutorial!
In this (geeky) video i demonstrate how the new Shift function works on the Slic3r, my thinking is that with a button mapped to shift you can get another layer of control out of your controller....
I then move on to show how to modify the Disabl4r device to turn off and on elements of the APC40 so that you can begin to create scenes of functionality based on which buttons are pressed....
I map the buttons of the Slic3r to the track select and activate buttons but they will only work when the Master Select button is lit up, this then disables the standard functionality and diverts it to the effect, it's what i do in a very simple sense with my master device (which has got up to 13 different layers) so i thought i'd run a quick demo of how you might use the disabler device to begging building your own custom template....
Speaking of custom i'm still up for a challenge, just made a device that restricts a beatrepeat to only use the triplets divisions (which can be switched off to behave normally)

Modul4r Series Manuals... Plus a little Loop3r Update!
Hi All,
I've made some simple manuals for a few of the Modul4r series devices, i've also moved away from the nightmare that dropbox became and have settled in nicely at Sugarsync.....
Sm4rt 1.0.1 Manual

Loop3r 1.0.3 Manual
The update to the Loop3r device came about as a request for a more compact set of midi mapping..... With 5 Loop Length Buttons, a halve and Double Loop option plus a Loop On/Off Button, you need 8 buttons per track to have full userability.....
Option 1: Buy a Launchpad, select User 2 and map away
Option 2: Change the Multi Button (New) to Solo, then map the same 8 controller buttons to every instance of the device, the controls will only act upon the track in focus, like blue handing the device....
Option 3: Not got 8 buttons spare? Then mapping a midi knob to the bottom half of the loop length chooser and three buttons, one to Loop On/Off and one each to Halve and Double, will give you the same level of control....!
