Max4Live = Beatmashing!!
UPDATE 4:
This is the one i was waiting to do in Max but i needed a lot of help (much thanks to Michael Chenetz)
Thanks to Mike Chenetz of maxforlive.info i've finally got round to replacing beatlookup and lucifer within my DJ template so that i can run things as native as possible....
This update to my clip control patch gives beatjumping functionality that can either be on a Stutter or Continue basis, you can also select what division the 8 buttons control either 1/4s or 1/8ths....
With the smooth control you can vary the edges of the slices depending on the style of music your playing...
And finally the reverse function plays all the slices in reverse order from the last slice played and backwards giving a very smooth sounding rewind (only at the same tempo currently)
The patch also adds the Reset option of the 8 macros in the first device in the track, you can record new values and quickly reset to them after playing with say a filter in the mix....

Hi there,
the video below demonstrates the functionality of my patch that i'm creating in max, i'm concentrating first on getting it to work tightly before i attempt to add the mapping of the APC40 into it....

APC40 Template + Bomes 1.7 Beta 4 + Live 8.1
Hi All,
To be added to the mailing list for the template for the current version and all future updates please leave me a comment with your email address in the body of the text, otherwise i won't be able to send you links.....
First click on the bomes symbol to the right and download the trial version of the software, or even purchase it straight off the bat..... It's incredible value compared to Max4Live and it still does stuff that Max can't do....

La plantilla trabaja con la versión de ensayo de bomes si usted apenas quiere darle un ir, si usted entonces decide que Bomes en £60.00 es mucho menos a tragar que Max4Live en £250 entonces tengo un acoplamiento con el cual usted pueda aumentar a la versión completa de modo que pueda continuar apoyando y poniendo al día la plantilla .....

AKAI APC40 + Max4Live = DJ Template (Part One)
Hi all,
Video explains it all, i'm rebuilding my Bomes preset in a modular style in Max4Live....
Max is different, it may turn out to be better than Bomes but at the same time this one patch has taken me longer than my whole template took to program in Bomes, it's also 4 times more expensive and realistically the end result is the same...
I'm continuing to support the Bomes template which is now working with the latest Beat and indeed the trial version of Bomes so you can try before you buy!
